About The NAACP Youth Council

The youth division is committed to empowering, training, and molding young leaders in Wisconsin. Our council provide training and leadership development for young adults under the age of 25.

Mission

The mission of the NAACP Youth Council is to inform young adults about the problems affecting African Americans and other minorities to ensure individuals have equal rights discrimination based on race by developing a new generation of civil rights and community leaders.

MILWAUKEE NAACP YOUTH COUNCIL 2021 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

  • Lailaa Muhammad has served twice as Council Vice President and once as Secretary. Lailaa will attend Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans where she plans to study medicine.

  • Lashonda Good served as Council President and once as Membership Chair. Lashonda will attend Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona, FL, where she plans to study Health and Exercise Science.

  • Jadah Webb currently serves as Council President. Jadah will attend Fisk University in Nashville, TN where she plans to study Computer Science.

  • Samuelle (Sam) Mejia-Townsend served twice as Council Treasurer. Sam will attend Milwaukee Area Technical College where he plans to study Culinary Arts.
